What I Wore- My First Attempt

So this is me, trying to take myself seriously enough to take a photoshoot on my Mac laptop. I spent a good 8-10 minutes giggling and making weird faces at the camera before I even got to the whole "outfit" thing. I'm very much looking forward to making someone else take these photos once I'm out of my studio apartment and living among other normal humans.

Ok, onto the actual outfit...

For the first time in a while, the high temperature in New York was under 90 degrees yesterday! I decided to celebrate by wearing pants. My normal summer uniform is pretty much the opposite of this, but sometimes I like to get fancy and act like I'm an adult and wear a collared shirt. But I think tying it at my hips kind of nips professionalism in the bud here. I added my tried and true wedges because grey jeans don't exactly elongate the leg, so I needed a little oomphf. No crazy accessories or anything today. Just a Carmen-ed version of an adult outfit. This is how we do profesh.

PS- These photos actually make me look skinny, which is AMAZING. Totes not calling myself fat, but I'm just saying- Photobooth, whatever you're doing to my body, I'm not complaining.

Shirt- Express (FANCY!)
Jeans- Urban Outfitters- BDG Grey Skinny Jeans
Shoes- Forever 21 (and can I just say that they cost me less than $30, I've been wearing them to death this summer, without a single blister, and they're holding up like champs. Thanks Forevs!)

Ok, so how'd I do? First "What I Wore" and I'm thinking I maybe passed with flying colors. Eh? (In case you're wondering, that's a bandaid on my finger with a paint splotch on it. The bandaid is for an injury sustained by paint roller. Srsly.) Taking myself this seriously is exhausting!
