I know unemployment gets a bad rep, but I'm here to dispell the rumors. UNEMPLOYMENT IS THE BEST! I mean, seriously guys, let's think about it for a minute. Here's all you need to know about unemployment to know that it's awesome: YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORK. Yeah, that part is rad. It's like a permanent vacation, except you have no money and get nagged a lot to "get a fucking job, you lazy piece of shit." Whatever- WORTH IT!

See, when I left New York, I came back to go to school, sort of failing to figure out the whole "work" thing. I've since been enjoying lazy days and late nights, sort of like a little holiday. I only have class on Mondays and Wednesdays, so the other days are full of studying and dicking around. The only work I've done is babysitting. I actually have loved that part. It broke up the days and got me a little ca$h money in my pocket. HOLLA! But, as they say, nothing gold can stay.... This Tuesday, I start work and say goodbye to my Funemployment. It's a job that will require me to wake up early and be an actual adult, or at least pretend. It's at the University I'm going to though, and I know almost everybody in the office already. So I'm actually looking forward to it, strangely enough. Yeah, no one's more shocked about that than me. For the sake of honesty, I'm willing to admit that's 95% due to the fact that I'll actually be able to afford my shopping addiction again. Hello, long lost lover.

So these are my last few days of Funemployment, and I'm taking full advantage. I just woke up from a two an a half hour nap, and I intend to accomplish little else all weekend. Self indulgent, much? CHEYA! I'm fooling myself into thinking it's okay because I deserve it. Like, really? Who do I think I am? Beyonce works WAY harder than me, and she's knocked up. Reality check, yos.

It's time to start saying goodbye to my laziness... So long, long afternoons spent painting my nails. Goodbye, How I Met Your Mother TV block in the morning and early evening. Check ya later, not showering until 3:00 on weekdays. I'll miss you, mid-afternoon dance parties with my puppy. Peace out, sleeping until noon, waking up for an hour to eat, and going back to bed. It's time, guys. Big girl things are nearing. I'm not delusional enough to think I could spend forever researching how many different kinds of My Little Ponys are out there. I just didn't realize it would end so soon.... so soon.
I made a little mixtape to accompany my final slacker days. Some are Funemployment anthems, others just because I felt like it, OKAY?!
