What I Wore Wednesday {10/26/11}

At the beginning of Fall, I always forget how to dress myself. It's as if I've never worn pants before. And I don't understand what those long things are on the end of my shirts. Sleeves, you say? I've never heard of such a thing! Getting dressed those first couple weeks is tough. Some of the outfits are questionable, to be sure. But then one day, I finally click into Fall fashion and feel normal and awesome once again. This, of course, happens just as it's about to become too cold for cute fall outfits, and warm coats cover me up until the Spring. I think we probably have another 2 or 3 weeks  of this weather though, at least, which I'm loving. I need to get the most out of this season. Winter is a barren season for fashionable looks around these parts. I'm going to awkwardly put it off for as long as possible. I don't mind being that girl who refuses to retire her leather jacket in favor of an actual winter coat. It wouldn't be the first time...

As far as the photo shoot thing goes, I'm still working on not feeling super weird having someone (my Mom) take pictures of me for these posts. Like, who do I think I am, Tyra? She would be appalled by these photos. Not one smize among the bunch. I really should just be eliminated. But that's impossible on my own blog. It's like it's casting week and the only reason I made it through was because of my heartfelt story about my entire family and worldly possessions burning in a fire when I was 5-years-old. Whatever, I'll take the pity win. All the other girls will make fun of me and my awkward posing, but I'll really hit my stride after makeovers. Don't worry about it.

This little ensemble is one I picked out after I got into my cardigan and boots Fall rhythm. Super comfy and cozy. Perfect for weekend adventures outside.

PS- How gorgeous is my back yard? The leaves changing made for the perfect backdrop to my faux photo shoot. I wish it could stay like this all year round. So pretty.

One lives in New York, and the other one is now in LA. Still BFFs despite the distance.]}

Thank you for taking the time to comment! It's lovely hearing from you :)
