Hoods Up Winter Wear

Hello, internet. It's freezing here in Ohio, and I'm not too excited about it. I want to fast forward to 80 degree summer nights, please. Unfortunately, we're stuck with bitter cold until March. Don't worry- I'm used to it. At least in Ohio (vs. New York) I can drive from one cold ass place to another, instead of walking everywhere. Definitely a perk. But this past weekend I couldn't avoid the cold- we went to get out Christmas tree! I know a lot of people really love their fake trees, but my family and I have never really been into that whole thing. We've always gone to the cut your own Christmas Tree places, and I couldn't imagine it any other way. This year was no different, and I piled on the layers to battle the elements. I've had this coat for a year, and I still can't get over how perfect it is for winter. I got it for $35 last year at H&M, and it keeps me warm pretty much all winter. (There are special occasions that call for the huge puffy coat, but that's not for a few more weeks.) Plus, I stole my Dad's scarf a couple weeks ago and it's now become my winter staple scarf. I do love a good chunky knit scarf. And yes, in case you were wondering, I did legitimately walk around with my hood up AND a huge scarf all day. It may look like it was sunny, but was cold dudes!! I don't mess around. Us Mexicans, man... We're not meant for the cold.
Huge coat + Huge Scarf + Jeans + Boots = Christmas Tree Pickin' Outfit!

  1. Awesome! You look very snug. I love your boots. It's so hard to find a lovely plain brown boot.

  2. Cute! I definitely don't miss OH winters.

  3. I like that picture where you're doing the Cher hair flip.

Thank you for taking the time to comment! It's lovely hearing from you :)
