Weekend Snapshots {1/23/12}

Monday Funday! I don't have to work today so I'm a happy camper! Even though I didn't have that much to do this weekend, I still feel exhausted today. I'm in need of a few cups of coffee. I have class at 2, and then I have so much homework & shop work tonight. Must stay awake!!

Friday started with a thrifting trip where I found something so great- I couldn't have even dreamed it up. A WHITE JEAN SHORTS (jorts) PURSE WITH WINNIE THE POOH EMBELLISHMENTS! Guys, really, this is a thing. Someone owned that. How awesome must that person (child) have been!? Seriously spectacular. I didn't buy it, but that's because I actually already own a jorts purse. Really. Then Friday night, we had some visitors! My parent's old foster daughters and their brother stay the night. They are so adorable!! They stayed the night and we got donuts (for the kiddos) and lattes in the morning. After we dropped them off, I went up to Ann Arbor to hang with Shane & Diane for a bit. Of course I had to snap a photo of the best dog ever, little Jack! One day I'm going to steal him. Isn't he adorable?!

Then on Sunday I attempted to ride around my new Penny board! Turns out, I suck. But how pretty is she?!?! I'm in love with her. As soon as the weather warms up, I'm taking her out to learn on something other than hardwood floors. Then a visit with my Grandaddy at the mall, followed by watching the Patriots game. Pats won!!! I think I almost lost my voice from screaming at the TV so much. It was such a close game. But the Pats are going to the Super Bowl!!! I'm pretty excited if you can't tell by my overuse of exclamation points. SUPER BOWL!!!! We can finally beat the Giants again and prove that we are so the better team. I won't bore you with talk of my love for Tom Brady & Wes Welker right now. I'll save that for Super Bowl Sunday.

I'm off to do some reading before class today at 2. Happy Monday, lovies!

  3. Mmmmmm, Tim Hortons... I'm originally from Canada and we don't have it here in the south. I get so jacked on some Timmies when I visit home! Glad I stumbled upon your blog :)
