What I STYLED {1/5/12}

I know I've been slacking on the What I Wore posts, but with good reason. I'm so much better at dressing others than I am at dressing myself!! I even have proof. Shop Cheeky Cheeky has become such a wonderful creative outlet for me, allowing me a space to not only hand select beautiful vintage pieces, but also style shoots and actually see my vision come to life. For a kid with pent up creative energy, opening an Etsy shop is a total dream. So instead of boring you with "Hey, look! I wore jeans and a cardigan today because it's FUCKING FREEZING OUTSIDE!" I decided to mix it up and show you guys three of my favorite outfits currently on the shop. We have another shoot next weekend and I'm just bursting with excitement to style another shoot. SO much fun! We're so fortunate to have our friends Sydney & Erica to model for our shoots. They're the most adorable girls ever and are total sweethearts to work with during the shoot. Guess what else? They're sisters!

Vintage Plaid Maxi Skirt With Belt// $28
Hi, hello. I want to be this girl! That's basically the look I was going for here, and hopefully accomplished. Sydney totally brought this look to life. The vintage blue t-shirt has been one of my wardrobe staples, and it works perfectly with this wool skirt. Isn't it just the most perfect 70's skirt you've ever seen? Parting with it is certainly going to be difficult. Get it here!

Floral 70s Vintage Midi Hippie Dress// $28
Everyone needs a dress that just makes them want to sit around and listen to Cat Stevens, right? Erica fell in love with this dress as much as I did when I first saw it. Such a pretty floral pattern, and a cinched waist never hurt anybody! Get it here.

Vintage Apron// $18
It is entirely possible that my love of baking is simply based on my obsession with aprons. They're just so cute! But the cutest of all cute aprons have to be vintage, for sure. I have quite a few of them in my possession, and I can't justify not letting them out into the world. We have green, blue, pink and yellow listed on the shop now. Take a look!

Thanks for taking a peek at my favorite looks from the shop! If you're a real life fan, become a Facebook fan too, and like our page! (PS- I just started our page yesterday- Facebook is a WHOLE new ballgame.) Also, I just wanted to thank everyone for being so supportive of my announcement!! It means the world to me to have supporters, especially by other bloggers. Thanks for the positive vibes!

  4. Oooh, really like these outfits. The apron is so sweet! I like the photos, too... were they edited at all? They remind me a bit of those Steve Madden ads... Very cool.

    Also.. totally not weird about the rainbow/wedding cake, I'd love to have it at my wedding too, only I'd like the size of it to be tripled (and...perhaps spiked with rum?... Too far?)
