Weekend Snapshots {6/18/12}

1/// Miyonnah got her nailz did. Getting a 5-year-old to sit still long enough to paint both her fingernails AND toenails is probably my proudest accomplishment to date.
2/// Miyonnah & Mariah eating breakfast in their PJs. ADORABLE.
3/// Saturday night in an empty theater to see Madagascar 3D with my Dad. {Srsly giggled my way through the whole movie. Who says adults can't love cartoons?!}
4/// Orange Cranberry Father's Day scones! {Recipe to come.}
5/// Father's Day manicures with the sister-in-law, Joyce! {Nice daughters probably spend the day doing activities their Dads like to do, like fishing, watching sports, etc. Um... we set up shop in the middle of Father's Day brunch and werked on our nails. Totally normal.}

MAJOR lack of Instagraming this weekend! This is due to a couple things. First and foremost, I went to my first ever Shabbat dinner on Friday, thus- no cell phone usage for most of it. It was seriously such an awesome experience. I kind of wish I was Jewish. The rest of the weekend was spent running around, napping & hanging out with family. Now that I have a nicer actual camera, I find myself wanting to take pictures with my DLSR much more than my iPhone. UPGRADE, say holla!

Alright dudes & ladies, I'm off to work, followed by finishing up some guest blogs I've been working on & dinner tonight with some friends. Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

PS- Guess what kicks off tomorrow? Another Superstition Vintage giveaway!! So excited!! Check back maƱana for all the details!

  1. I USUALLY take instagram pictures with my iPod, but everyonce in awhile, I cheat and use pictures I took with my nice camera. I just upload the pictures and then save them to my ipod so I can import them into instagram. That way, I have pictures to share and I got to use my nice camera doing it! I love my DSLR. <3

    Anyways, I just wanted to point out that you CAN use a dSLR for instagram photos. Glad you had a nice weekend :]

Thank you for taking the time to comment! It's lovely hearing from you :)
