Miss Me?

Oh, hello there my long lost friends. I've been a little MIA lately... Okay a lot MIA lately, and for that, I apologize. Things have been crazy x 1,00,000 over here. Allow me to explain:

Two semi-large goings on in my life have been taking up a lot of my time and I'm definitely not complaining. So, for those of you who have been reading my blogs and tweets about my move to Los Angeles and finding a job- the search is over! I got a job! Yay life!!! High fiving a million angels! I started work last Wednesday and so far so good. My commute is only 15 minutes on a good day with minor traffic, so I'm definitely not complaining. {Although it inexplicably took me an hour to get home last night. What the hell?} I must say, it definitely feels great to not have a job search hanging over my head every day. Being funemployed, if even for a month, is extremely stressful. I definitely sleep better now that I don't have to wake up every morning and apply for jobs. Working this new job and blogging will be totally possible, I just have to wrap my head around having a new, very different schedule. But it's totally doable. I need to get back to scheduling my posts and being all organized and stuff. LIFE IS HARD, RIGHT?!

The other update on my little life is one I debated even blogging about. Some people are all into keeping some stuff off their blog and maintaining some privacy or whatever. I'm not about that. I mean, if Kourtney Kardashian can pull her own baby out of her vagina on national television, I can share a little bit of realness with you on my blog. Today, on this sacred day- the day after national coming out day- I'm going to come out to all of you {get it?!} and tell you that I'm no longer a single girl. I KNOW, I KNOW. Who would agree to date this pile of crazy? Trust me, guys, I'm as shocked as you are. I knew him before moving to LA, and when I got out here, he decided that I wasn't completely disgusting and cray cray, so we started dating. That's how adult relationships work, right? As an "eternally single girl," I'm adjusting to life with a boyfriend and totally enjoying it. He's been all over my Instagram lately, so you might have picked up on it over the past few weeks. So everyone welcome Drew to this blog. You'll be seeing a lot more of his general cuteness here in the coming weeks. Also, if you're interested, he has a photoblog of his very own that you can creep on. {He snapped the above photo of me at the Griffith Observatory last week.} He's pretty great. Just sayin'.

So a little over a month being in LA and I've locked down a job and a dude. Not bad, right? I'm definitely still in that weird "just moved" transition period, but I couldn't be happier. Things in LA are pretty awesome so far. {GOD, BRAG MUCH?!} So, I apologize if I've been a little lacking on ze blogging front. This weekend, I'm going to get my shit together and schedule some posts. I have lots and lots of pictures to share! Get ready.

Also, there's still time to enter the Paper Love Stationery Giveaway!! Hurry, hurry, hurry!

xo! Carmen
