A Sunday at The Getty

A couple weekends ago, Drew and I were adventuring and decided to make a stop at the Getty, this rad museum in LA. We were driving down Mulholland, getting lost in new neighborhoods, and ended up seeing signs for the museum and decided to check it out. I couldn't believe how different the Getty is from all the museums I've been to in New York. To me, the coolest part about the Getty is the architecture, which was designed by Richard Meier. {I know things!} Lots of beautiful buildings to stare up at from the sprawling grass. We had so much fun exploring all around the area and snapping photos of the museum {and each other.} I can definitely see this becoming a common occurrence for us.  It's the perfect place for a mini-photo shoot!

  1. I have lived in Orange County for 3 years now and have never even been to 1 stinkin' museum...it's sad really. I need to get my act together! Love your pictures!

  2. Hey Carmen! I just found your blog through Miss Indie, you are too adorable!! I'm your newest follower and can't wait to get to know you more :) P.S. totally missing my So-Cal :/ I grew up there and now I'm in Utah for school, I soooo miss that weather!!

  3. Gurl, you need to go to Getty Villa, which I've never been to even though I live in SoCal for 10 years. Sad but true.

  4. Yes, the Getty Museum is awesome! Gorgeous photos. I've been there a handful of times. I recently went to the Getty Villa too, and posted about it here (http://www.the-loudmouth.com/2012/11/look-getty-villa-good-news.html)

  5. Omg, do you have a tattoo of Kurt Cobain? That's awesome!
