Scenes from an Apple Orchard {Oak Glen, CA}

Last week, I posted some outfit photos featuring a pretty stellar backdrop found an hour and a half outside of LA- the apple orchards at Oak Glen! Well, here's a peek into the rest of my day with Drew at the apple orchards. Even though I love living in cities, I'm a Midwest girl at heart. Something about looking out over a field and seeing nothing but tress in the distance just makes me inexplicably happy. The greatest thing about Oak Glen is that there are multiple apple orchards to pick from. Back in Ohio, when you go to an apple orchard, you go to one apple orchard. It's one place and you bang everything in one stop. At Oak Glen, there's a long, winding road full of orchards, shops, little "villages," restaurants, and pretty much anything else apple related you can imagine. It was definitely a different experience for me, but I loved it! If you're not digging the first spot you check out, you walk to the next one, or hop in your car and drive a bit down the road to try out something new. If you're in LA- it's definitely worth the hour and a half drive.

Even though it wasn't that long ago, looking through these photos makes me want to go back already. I'm so happy I have Drew to adventure with on the weekends! I'm a lucky girl.

So many great little interesting things to snap photos of & memories to capture. Also- does this truck remind anyone else of Joey Potter's truck in Dawson's Creek? If so, we could probably be BFFs.

xoxo. Carmen

  1. Oh how I wish I was in California right now! It's cold in New York and the apple orchards are closed. That caramel apple looks yummy!!! =)
