Sponsor Spotlight: Katie from Lovely Lady
1. Tell us a little bit about yourself & your blog:
Hi! My name is Katie. I'm 20 years old and from the land of corn - Indiana. I daydream more than any normal person should. I'm REALLY shy and quiet in real life but you would never know it with how much I babble on the blog. I love cats, high heels, vintage anything, Agatha Christie mysteries, red lipstick and snow. I have an unhealthy obsession with pepperonis and talk about it a lot. I also have a secret dream to be an actress & win an Oscar.
My blog, Lovely Lady, is a strange little place. I don't DIY or cook or have fashion posts. LL is simply a place for me to share all the little random details of my days and hopefully figure out this thing called life along the way. And of course to meet all you wonderful people.
2. What are you most thankful for this November?
I am most thankful for new chances to change. There are a lot of things in my life that I'm not happy with and to know that I really have the opportunity to make some changes is beyond refreshing. And also for a wonderful group of online friends who have been there whenever I need to talk. It makes my heart happy to know I have those people there for me.
3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
oh my lanta. what a question! Well, if things were to go as I would like, I will be married, hopefully studying something I love and probably still living here in this small town but traveling more. Also maybe having a baby depending on when I got married. I know. I'm a crazy person. But whatever happens, I think I will be happy.
4. What are some of your favorite blogs/websites you've been reading lately?
This is like asking me to pick a favorite song - impossible! But some of my favorites are..
Katie Did What
Humble Pie Vintage
and Cheeky Cheeky. Duh.
5. Who is your biggest inspiration?
I find inspiration in so many people. But I guess if I had to choose one person, I would say my sister is my biggest inspiration. We are two very different people in a lot of ways. She is incredibly talkative and outgoing, a complete social butterfly and adored by a lot of people. She is a friendly happy person, a good wife and you can tell how much faith she has & that she truly loves Jesus. It is all so opposite of how I am and when I think of my life, I want it to look like hers. It inspires me to just be myself more and not be so afraid of what people think all the time because that is what she does. If, when I am older, people say that I am like my sister, I will be a proud happy lady.
Isn't she the sweetest? Make sure you check out her blog & follow her on Twitter!
