What I Wore: Floral in the Mountains

Happy November, loves! Where did October go?! Here in LA, it's just now barely starting to feel like fall- but I mean, it's still like mid 70s. And it's supposed to be 90 degrees on Monday. Such an adjustment for me, as a born & raised Midwest girl! I'm still getting used to the fact that it never rains here. Anyway, last weekend, the boyfriend and I went to Oak Glen to take in a little bit of nature outside of LA and eat copious amounts of apples and apple by-products. {Caramel apples are my favorite!} We were hoping to get a little bit of an autumn vibe in Oak Glen, but it was like 85 degrees and sunny. Oh, well! Just another excuse to wear a floral dress, eh? Can't really complain about living in the land of nice weather. Being the annoying blogger girlfriend that I am, I made sure we squeezed in some outfit photos before the day was over. I'll be back soon with some more pictures from the day- lots of awesome nature shots and whatnot. It's like a whole different world out there- just an hour and a half outside of LA!

Also, can I just say- boyfriend perk #1 as a blogger- constantly having someone around to take outfit photos! It's lame, I know. But it's SO much easier than having to set up a tripod and pose by myself in my apartment or something. Plus, Drew's a pretty legit photographer in his own right, so I always know I'm going to get some good shots out of any mini-shoot we do together.

  1. The back of that dress is so pretty! I would have such a hard time finding a bra to wear with that though!

  2. I'm always too nervous to ask my manfriend to take pictures of me. I'm not sure why it makes me so uncomfortable. But, you look beautiful! love that dress

  3. Look at you looking all loved up and flirty in floral. I bet a tripod can't get you to smile thus. Hahaha! Can't wait for the longer post.
