Palm Springs in the Wintertime

{Note the giant Marilyn Monroe statue. I died. Also, kudos to that gentleman who's just unabashedly staring up her skirt.}

Palm Springs is basically every photographer's fantasy. There is something beautiful or interesting around every corner- especially at the Ace Hotel. It's been a little on the cold side lately in LA, but a two hour drive to Palm Springs satiated my desire for heat. It was 80 degrees & sunny while we were there. Oh! And it's dry heat- not the humid kind of heat where you feel like you're going to die. Plus, my hair didn't frizz at all. I mean, obvi my kind of town, for sure. Retirement can't come soon enough :)

The only things I knew about Palm Springs going into this trip, I learned from The O.C. Who else remembers that episode? So good! Happy to report that I LOVED Palm Springs & we will definitely be going back for an overnight stay very soon.

Have you guys ever been to Palm Springs? Did you love it as much as I do?

xo! Carmen
